Massive attack on the energy system: which regions are experiencing emergency outages

According to glavcom.ua: In the evening of December 23, the Ministry of Energy reported on the state of energy in various regions of Ukraine after a new shelling by Russia. According to information from the 'Glavkom' website, power engineers are actively working on restoring the electrical grid to ensure the stability of the energy system.

The Rivne, Ternopil, and Odesa regions are continuing work to restore electricity supply. Restrictions on electricity consumption are also being implemented for both industry and the population. Information on the schedule of outages can be found on the websites of regional electricity distribution operators.

'The situation here is the most difficult due to constant combat operations that complicate the process of restoring electricity supply,' explained representatives of the Ministry of Energy.

The Ministry of Energy also reported on the consequences of the attack on the energy infrastructure, which led to emergency power outages in many regions. Currently, rescuers and energy workers are working to eliminate the consequences and plan to restore electricity supply after the situation in the energy system stabilizes.

It should be noted that the acting head of the Ministry of Energy, Artem Nekrasov, stated about the temporary reduction in the capacity of nuclear power plants due to numerous attacks on the energy system, which have become a real threat to the country.

As a result of the Russian shelling, energy workers are under constant stress, working to restore electricity supply and stabilize the energy system, carrying out work across the country.
