Minimum Pension from August 1: What Ukrainian Pensioners Can Expect
Starting from August 1, 2025, the minimum pension amount in Ukraine will remain unchanged, despite the increase in minimum pensions due to the March indexation. Non-working pensioners aged 65 and older with full insurance experience receive the maximum minimum pension of 3,758 hryvnias. Working pensioners receive 2,361 hryvnias, corresponding to the subsistence minimum for those who have lost their ability to work.With full insurance experience, non-working pensioners aged 65 can receive 3,758 hryvnias. Pensioners aged 80 and older with at least 20 years of insurance experience receive the same amount. It is worth noting that there are restrictions on the minimum pension payment of 2,361 hryvnias for working pensioners.Not all Ukrainians will be able to receive a pension in August. It should be noted that the amount of the minimum pension is determined by the age of the recipient, the duration of the insurance experience, and the employment status of the pensioner. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Ternopil region has confirmed that starting from August 1, 2025, the amount of the minimum pension payment will remain at the same level.
