Ukraine and the Netherlands launch joint production of drones: details of the agreement

Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal is pleased to announce the launch of the joint Ukrainian-Dutch production of drones. He signed the agreement together with Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brinkman. This document will allow the production of Ukrainian drone systems both in Ukraine and in the Netherlands.

According to Denys Shmyhal, the production of drones will be distributed between our country and the Netherlands. The Dutch side will purchase drones and transfer them to the Ukrainian army. The minister also emphasized the continuation of scaling up the production of Ukrainian weapons together with partners.

Funding of the PURL project from the Netherlands

Denys Shmyhal also reported that the Netherlands has allocated €250 million for the implementation of the PURL initiative. This step indicates the country's readiness to support cooperation with Ukraine in the field of defense and the development of advanced technologies.

The Ukrainian-Dutch joint production of drones opens new opportunities for the development of military-technical cooperation between the countries. The allocation of funding for the PURL project is also evidence of the Netherlands' support for joint efforts with Ukraine in the field of security and enhancement of defense technologies.
