Shmyhal visited the front line in Zaporizhzhia: discussed the expansion of the regiment and arms procurement

According to Мін. Оборони: Ukraine's Defense Minister Denis Shmyhal visited the command post of the "Shkval" battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment. He spoke with the regiment commander, Major Oleg Shiryaev, regarding the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction and in the area of responsibility of the unit.

“We discussed the issues facing us. We talked about the possibility of expanding the regiment's structure and the need for procurement of new weapons, equipment, and ammunition,” Shmyhal stated.

The minister also awarded the soldiers of the regiment who distinguished themselves in combat actions.

The Defense Minister visited the battalion and discussed issues regarding the further development of the unit, as well as awarding the soldiers for their bravery on the battlefield.
