Klymenko on the heroism of Chernobyl liquidators: why their feat is relevant now

According to ДСНС: Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko noted on the Day of Commemoration of Participants in the Liquidation of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Accident the heroic act of thousands of people, including employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He emphasized that the liquidators saved lives, often at the cost of their own, especially in the face of modern threats.

On this day, the National Chernobyl Museum is also being updated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to preserve and pass on the memory of the heroism of the liquidators to future generations.
