The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiga, met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to discuss cooperation between Ukraine and NATO, as well as efforts to strengthen the country's defense and resilience.

During the meeting, the Minister informed the Deputy Secretary General about the consequences of Russia's night strikes and discussed the priority needs to enhance air defense and other capabilities within the Ukrainian armed forces.

'I assess the readiness of the Deputy Secretary General to make every possible effort to support Ukraine both at the diplomatic table and on the battlefield. We emphasized the effective NATO initiative PURL and ways to increase contributions to it.'

Furthermore, the minister thanked for the support of the Ukrainian people in the face of Russian terror. It was emphasized that the Russian attacks undermine the peaceful efforts discussed by the United States and President Trump, and further steps in the peace process were discussed.

The participation in the upcoming Ukraine-NATO Council meeting at the ministerial level is eagerly anticipated.

During the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, the readiness of NATO to support Ukraine in the area of defense and cooperation was emphasized. Important aspects of the peace process and joint steps to strengthen Ukraine's security were discussed.
