The Ministry of Defense has updated the classification of demining technologies: what has changed

According to Мін. Оборони: At the Summit on Innovation and Technology in the field of humanitarian demining HITS25 in Krakow, the Ministry of Defense presented its updated classification system for demining technologies. Now this system includes various categories of demining means, considering ground, underwater, airborne, auxiliary, and specialized tools.

The new system was presented by the Main Directorate for Humanitarian Demining, Civil Protection, and Environmental Safety. It is already successfully used for testing, technical assessment, and integration of innovations into the national humanitarian demining system.

The updated classification system for demining technologies opens up new opportunities for effective combat against mines and other explosive devices, ensuring greater safety for both military personnel and the civilian population.
