The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation commented on the mass attack on Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published a brief message about the mass strike that Russian terrorists launched on Ukraine on the night of June 29. The report does not provide many details about the targets that the missiles and drones aimed to hit, but it indicates that military-industrial complex facilities and oil refineries were the target of this strike.

“Last night, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with long-range precision weapons launched from air, sea, and ground bases, using the aeroballistic hypersonic missile system 'Dagger', as well as drones against targets in Ukraine. The strike was successful; all targets were destroyed,” the occupiers reported.

Also, on the night of June 29, Russian occupiers carried out a massive missile-drone strike on Ukraine, using various types of missiles and strike drones. Russia attacked Ukraine from different directions, causing damage in several regions. According to preliminary estimates, more than 450 targets of various types were attacked.

As a result of the defense against the mass aerial assault from Russia, first-class pilot Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Ustymenko was killed on an F-16 aircraft. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in the course of a week, Russia launched more than 114 missiles, almost 1270 drones, and more than 1100 guided aerial bombs into Ukraine, and expressed condolences to the pilot's family.

As a result of the massive strike by Russian terrorists on Ukraine, significant damage was caused to military-industrial complex facilities and oil refineries. Ukraine continues to fight against aggression and protects its territory from foreign enemies.
