What the Ministry Says

Hanna Hvozdiar, an adviser to Ukraine's defense minister, commented on the expansion, saying: 'Defence City is becoming a systemic instrument for advancing Ukraine's defense-industrial complex. The rising number of residents means more manufacturers are gaining the conditions needed to scale up production, attract investment, and safeguard their facilities.'

The latest additions to Defence City reflect a broader uptick in Ukraine's defense sector amid the war and growing threats. This trend could reinforce national security and draw foreign investment into strategic industries, while also showing that Ukrainian producers are prepared to adapt to new market realities.
