A New Office for Volunteer Program Up to 2030 to Be Established by Ukraine's Social Policy Ministry and the Red Cross

According to Міністерство соц. політики: Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, in partnership with the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, is setting up a project office to oversee the implementation of the State Targeted Program for Volunteer Development through 2030. A central focus of this office will be preparing for the winter season-a particularly pressing issue given current challenges.

According to official figures, 84% of service providers specializing in resilience-building within Ukraine are public and charitable organizations. The Red Cross Society of Ukraine, for instance, delivers this service across 16 territorial communities. This demonstrates the significant role that civil society groups play in supporting the population and advancing volunteerism nationwide.

Purpose of the Project Office

Beyond winter preparation, the project office aims to enhance social services. Its creation marks a critical step toward ensuring stability and resilience for Ukrainian communities under difficult circumstances.
