According to Міністерство соц. політики: The Ukrainian Ministry of Social Policy has registered approximately 700 requests for assistance from residents of Kyiv's Desnianskyi district. This outreach targets vulnerable groups who require support and may need help with evacuation. Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine, Denys Ulutin, stated that the applications are coming from individuals who cannot leave the area on their own and need additional aid. This effort is part of the government's response to the ongoing humanitarian challenges faced by communities across Ukraine.

Social services in the Desnianskyi district have identified 686 individuals with limited mobility. To assist these residents, interdisciplinary teams of social workers and volunteers have been formed to conduct door-to-door visits. This approach helps identify residents' needs and allows for a swift response to their requests. Information sharing with the national emergency service, 112, continues to facilitate the processing of these appeals.

Most Common Requests from Residents

Among the most frequent requests from residents are hot meals, highly insulating warm blankets, and hygiene products. Denys Ulutin emphasized that those requiring temporary evacuation are immediately offered the opportunity to leave. This demonstrates the Ministry of Social Policy's active efforts to support vulnerable population groups during the current crisis.
