Odesa region in a week: over 500 shellings and critical condition of the strategic bridge

According to glavcom.ua: The pressure from the enemy is increasing every day in the Odesa region. In the past week, over 500 shellings have been recorded, with the main targets being ports and logistics hubs. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba reported that the situation is critical, especially regarding the bridge in the Mayaki area. It has been attacked more than 20 times in the past day; however, work at the site to repair the damage is ongoing.

“I was just there, an attack occurred right before our eyes on the bridge by a Shahed UAV. Fortunately, it did not hit the bridge, but nevertheless, attacks have been happening constantly for the past day. More than 20 attacks by UAVs have been on this bridge.”

A pontoon bridge has been deployed to ensure communication with isolated settlements. The authorities regularly supply them with essential goods and food. Plans are in place to expand logistics capabilities and eliminate the consequences of massive attacks in the region.
