Instant Transfers in Ukraine: How New Payments Change the Banking Sector in Seconds
According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian banking sector is currently undergoing digital transformation. The main trend is the rapid growth in the popularity of instant transfers. The new version of the National Bank's Electronic Payment System allows for instant transactions around the clock.
According to Natalia Rudukha, head of the project office at Globus Bank, the main advantage of instant transfers is their speed and accessibility: 'Such payments are completed in a matter of seconds.'
This method of transferring funds from IBAN to IBAN is very convenient for users, as it allows transactions to be carried out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Experts predict that instant transfers may significantly change cashless payments in the near future.
Risks and Advantages of Instant Transfers
Although instant transfers allow for quick fund deposits, they also carry risks. For example, in the case of a transfer error, it may be difficult or even impossible to recover the funds. Banks also have the right to block suspicious transactions in accordance with the law.
Natalia Rudukha emphasized: 'Clients should be careful when entering the details and amount.'
The National Bank of Ukraine has stated that it does not foresee additional payments for instant transfers, but warns about financial monitoring and the correctness of specifying the payment purpose.
The growing popularity of instant transfers in the Ukrainian banking sector indicates the active implementation of digital technologies and an increase in convenience for clients. However, along with the advantages of this service come certain risks that should be considered when conducting financial operations.
