Mobile resilience points in Kyiv

According to Главком: In Kyiv, mobile resilience points of the State Emergency Service continue to operate amid stabilizing the energy system. Since the deployment of these points, over 9 thousand residents of the capital have utilized their services. The mobile tents, set up in various districts of the city, operate 24/7, providing essential support to residents.

Currently, there are 47 mobile resilience points in Kyiv, located in the Dniprovskyi, Desnianskyi, Darnytskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts. These points provide residents with:

  • heat and light,
  • communication,
  • device charging,
  • hot beverages.

In conditions of cold weather and energy issues, it is important that these points operate uninterruptedly.

Moreover, on January 13, hour-by-hour electricity cut schedules were implemented in Ukraine, which also affected the livelihoods of residents in the capital. As of today, about 500 apartment buildings in Kyiv are without heat, highlighting the importance of assisting through mobile points. For the convenience of citizens, information about the locations of resilience points can be found on the official portal or in the 'Diia' mobile application.

Importance of mobile resilience points

It is generally believed that mobile resilience points are an important element of support for the population amid the energy crisis. They not only provide temporary assistance but also serve as a place for communication and information exchange among residents, which is particularly important during periods of instability. The functioning of these points underscores the government's efforts to ensure social support and maintain the community's viability in challenging conditions.
