According to glavcom.ua: During the first round, Ukraine won against Argentina with a score of 3:1, with overwhelming sets in favor of the Ukrainians. The first set ended with a score of 25:21, the second - 25:20, the third - 23:25, and the fourth - 25:21.

The Ukrainian youth volleyball team successfully started its performance at the World Championship 2025 by defeating the team of Argentina. This is the first time in the history of the Ukrainian youth national team that they participate in the final stage of the World Volleyball Championship in the last 8 years.
