The transition to a 12-year school education system in Ukraine will be implemented from September 1, 2027. As noted by Nadiya Kuzmychova,
"the transition to 12-year education is not a matter of discussion or political choice, but a direct requirement of current legislation"
. These events demonstrate the importance of timely delivery of educational materials to ensure quality education in Ukraine.
The fines imposed on publishers underline the seriousness of the problem with the supply of educational materials, which may affect preparations for the transition to the new education system. In this regard, it is important for publishers to take measures to improve logistics and fulfill contractual conditions. Timely delivery of textbooks is crucial for the stability of the educational process in Ukraine, especially in the context of planned changes in the education system.
