monobank launches monoбazar: how the new service for selling things works
Launch of the new service monoбazar
According to ХВИЛЯ: monobank is launching a new service called monoбazar for selling items, which is currently operating in beta mode. This service provides users the opportunity to sell their goods with low commissions and a convenient delivery process. Oleg Gorokhovsky, one of the founders of monobank, noted that monoбazar can be compared to OLX, but in a simplified format.
Commissions and service functionality
During the beta stage, the commission for sales will be 0.1% until January 8. After this date, the rate will rise to 1.9%. As part of the service, users have the opportunity to sell items for charity until the specified date. The delivery is organized in such a way that the seller receives money only after the buyer has received the item.
In monoбazar, each user can create their own personal showcase, which allows them to conveniently display their goods. All sellers on the platform are already verified, which reduces the risks of fraud. As Gorokhovsky noted, it is practically impossible to defraud on this service.
Moreover, to facilitate the sales process, the service also uses artificial intelligence, which helps fill in long product descriptions.
“It is practically impossible to defraud on this service” - Oleg Gorokhovsky
The launch of monoбazar is a strategic step for monobank, which aims to expand its services and attract new users. The service, focusing on charity and security, may become a competitor to the already existing online sales platforms, which is important in the conditions of the growing popularity of e-commerce.
The success of this service could significantly impact the secondary goods market in Ukraine, especially if it can maintain low commissions and a convenient process for users.
