Zelensky on the large-scale attack by the Russian Federation: over 500 drones and 45 missiles shot down

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement following the 1284th day of Russian aggression, highlighting key events and the diplomatic efforts of the state.

According to Zelensky, law enforcement agencies under the leadership of the Minister of Interior and the Attorney General are actively investigating the circumstances of Andriy Parubiy's death. The Security Service of Ukraine is involved in the investigation, and the president instructed to promptly present verified information and expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.

Russia carried out a large-scale strike on the territory of Ukraine, using over 500 drones and 45 missiles. As a result of the shelling in Zaporizhia, 29 people were injured and one was killed. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down part of the missiles and drones, calling Russia's actions aggressive.

Zelensky had a conversation with Indian Prime Minister Modi, where they discussed the situation regarding Russian aggression. The president expressed hope that this position would be reflected in meetings in China and criticized Putin for trying to engage leaders in collusion.

Zelensky stated the readiness of countries in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar to become a platform for peace agreements. Ukraine is actively preparing for negotiations and plans a tough response to Russia's actions.
