According to Главком: In the Chertanovo district of Moscow, a Pantsir-SMD-E surface-to-air missile system has been installed on the roof of the residential complex "Avenue 77." The equipment was delivered by helicopter on June 26, with witnesses previously sharing footage of the platform being set up on the same building on June 19. Located 13 kilometers south of the Kremlin and 12 kilometers west of the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya, the complex is now equipped with this defensive measure.

The Pantsir-SMD-E is specifically designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles. It lacks automatic cannons and instead relies on TKB-1055 "Gvozd" missiles with an effective range of up to 7 kilometers, as well as 95Ya6 missiles capable of reaching targets up to 20 kilometers away. Its detection radius extends to 24 kilometers. Similar systems have previously been installed on the roofs of the Nordstar Tower business center and the "Dom v Sokolniki" residential complex.

Attacks on Moscow Oil Refinery and Government Response

The Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya has faced repeated assaults. On June 18, drones targeted the facility, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed a second strike on the refinery within a week. Footage circulated online showing an explosion at the site, capturing the detonation of a fuel tank.
