Multimillionaire Garik Korogodskiy confessed that he currently spends less than before the full-scale war. He did not specify the exact amount of his monthly expenses but mentioned that a significant portion of the family budget used to go towards children's education, and now he is more cautious with large purchases. He shared this in a conversation with Vasily Timoshenko. Previously, the businessman had already shared his monthly expenses.

How much children's education cost before the war

According to Korogodskiy, before the full-scale invasion, family expenses were significantly larger, particularly due to children's education. One year in an international school, as he recalled, cost about 35 thousand dollars per child. He also mentioned studying in London but did not disclose its cost.

During the conversation, the host asked if the businessman really spent around 100 thousand dollars a month. Korogodskiy did not confirm this figure as his personal expenses and explained that his current expenses are lower.

Why Korogodskiy delays large purchases

The businessman stated that before making significant expenditures, he thinks about what else the money could be directed towards. Because of this, he hasn’t changed his car for a long time: according to him, one car has a mileage of over 300 thousand kilometers, and the other has around 700 thousand.

«I can't spend money on something expensive today, as I always measure what I can do with this money», — explained Korogodskiy.

He also noted that he does not buy expensive clothes. The last Balenciaga item, according to him, was purchased before the full-scale war. Previously, the businessman had expressed his views on where to invest money.

The exact amount he spends monthly these days was not disclosed by Korogodskiy. According to him, the change in financial habits is related to evaluating large purchases based on their opportunity cost. This applies both to everyday expenses and decisions regarding business, including the future of the Dream Town shopping mall.
