2026 Munich Security Conference

According to ХВИЛЯ: For the first time, the Munich Security Conference in 2026 will feature a dedicated Ukraine House. Scheduled for February 13–15, 2026, this represents a significant move to bolster Ukraine's presence on the global stage. The Ukraine House will be situated near the Bayerischer Hof hotel, providing a new venue for critical discussions on security and cooperation. This initiative underscores the conference's evolving focus on the ongoing conflict in Europe.

The conference is expected to draw roughly 1,000 participants from over 115 countries, including 60 heads of state and government. Attendees will also include more than a quarter of the U.S. Senate and over 50 leaders of international organizations, reflecting the high-level importance of the topics on the agenda.

Partners and Conference Agenda

The Ukraine House project is a partnership between:

  • The Office of the President of Ukraine
  • The Victor Pinchuk Foundation
  • The Ukrainian Defense Industry Association

Organizers describe the Ukraine House as a dynamic, curated space that will host numerous discussions, side events, and briefings, while also serving as a working hub for the Ukrainian delegation.

The main conference program begins on Friday, with participants set to debate global challenges, including:

  • The future of multilateralism
  • Economic security
  • Climate action
  • Hybrid warfare
  • Nuclear security
  • The artificial intelligence race

Saturday will focus on the state of transatlantic security and the international order, with particular emphasis on Russia's war against Ukraine and pathways to resolving crises. Sunday will center on Europe's competitiveness, its capacity for autonomous action, and forging a common European vision.

Ahead of the conference, the Munich Security Report 2026 will be presented in Berlin on February 9, 2026, alongside a kick-off event with over 100 representatives. These pre-conference activities highlight the Munich Security Conference's role as a premier platform for debating the world's most pressing security issues.

The establishment of a Ukraine House at the Munich Security Conference signals Ukraine's growing role in international affairs, particularly in the context of the ongoing military aggression by Russia.

This initiative could strengthen Ukraine's diplomatic efforts and foster more active participation in shaping global security policy. Given the complexity of contemporary challenges, the discussions on security and cooperation at this forum have the potential to influence international decisions on defense and security matters.
