The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has implemented digital extracts on missing persons: how to obtain online
The Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko reported on the introduction of a digital system for obtaining extracts from the Register of persons missing under special circumstances. In the two weeks since the launch, 1730 people have already used the system. Applications are processed on average within 48 hours, which is much faster than submitting paper requests or requests via email.
'Now we are working with specialists from the Ministry of Defense to ensure that integration with the 'Oberih' system takes place by the end of the year, so that it is reliable and valid enough,' - emphasized Igor Klymenko.
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has begun work on a Unified Information Platform concerning persons missing under special circumstances, and is cooperating with registers of human genomic information and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Additionally, work is being done on a new information platform and cooperation with other agencies to ensure more effective handling of missing persons issues.
