Ukraine's Foreign Ministry Dismisses Iranian Allegations as Fabrication
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Rejects Iranian Accusations
According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to allegations from Iran, which has attempted to portray Kyiv as complicit in strikes on Iranian territory. Ministry spokesman Georgii Tykhyi labeled these claims a fabrication. He was commenting on a complaint from an Iranian diplomat at the UN, who alleged that Ukrainian specialists in countering drones were supposedly operating in the Middle East.
Tykhyi noted that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has been struck by nearly 60,000 Iranian drones. He emphasized that no Ukrainian drone has ever attacked Iranian soil. The spokesman also addressed a statement by Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, who wrote a letter to the UN Secretary-General expressing a complaint about Ukraine's alleged involvement in military strikes.

The Iranian side, in turn, has described this as material and operational support for the military aggression of the United States and Israel.
Diplomatic Relations Deteriorate
These events reflect a deterioration in diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Iran against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Iran's accusations may be part of an information campaign aimed at diverting attention from its own actions in the region, including its support for Russia. This situation underscores the complex web of global alliances and proxy conflicts that extend far beyond Ukraine's borders. It also highlights the importance of international forums like the UN for addressing current conflicts and ensuring global security.
The recent accusations from Iran against Ukraine are part of a broader narrative that seeks to shift focus from its own military affiliations. This development is not isolated; it coincides with ongoing tensions in the region and highlights a complex interplay of international relations.
