According to glavcom.ua: In Cherkasy, the "Spaso-Preobrazhensky" church made a new decision - it joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Priest Vasyl explained that this step was taken on November 16 during a prayer service. After that, local residents independently entered the church territory and an inventory of the property was conducted. The church doors are now open to everyone.
Father Vasyl has to be on the church territory together with the parishioners during this transitional period. He noted that they plan to transparently reflect all events and address the Ministry of Culture. He also mentioned that the Moscow believers have already left this church.
The process of uniting Ukrainian Orthodox churches continues, and this is yet another example of a church that has joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
