Remembering Ihor Seimivskyi

According to Главком: Ihor Seimivskyi, a Ukrainian soldier who served in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and the Joint Forces Operation (JFO), was killed on the front line on May 6, 2026. Born on May 26, 1971, in the village of Rohizno, Lviv region, he attended the Oriana Lyceum under the Lviv City Council and later studied at Vocational Technical School No. 53 in Lviv. After completing his education, he fulfilled his mandatory military service.

Military Career and Achievements

Seimivskyi served with the 80th Separate Air Assault Halytska Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. Over the course of his military career, he took part in combat operations across several key areas, including:

  • Kherson
  • Luhansk
  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Donetsk
  • Northern Slobozhanshchyna
  • Kursk
  • Southern Slobozhanshchyna directions

For his bravery and heroism, he received multiple honors:

  • Order For Courage, Third Class
  • Medal For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation
  • Medal For the Defense of Ukraine
  • The 80th Separate Air Assault Halytska Brigade award For Participation in Combat in the ATO Zone

Beyond his military service, Seimivskyi also worked at the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region and as a carpenter at private enterprises. He is survived by three brothers and his family, who remember him as a courageous defender of Ukraine.
