Courage and bravery
In 2024, he volunteered to defend Ukraine – joined the tactical group “Revanche” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He served as a reconnaissance assault soldier, commanding a reconnaissance squad.
As part of “Revanche,” Rodion passed through the South Slobozhansky, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk directions. He participated in combat operations, assaults, ambushes. During the performance of various tasks, he eliminated no less than seven Russian occupiers – and this is only in firefights.

An ambush or aggressive assault – Rodion was prepared for anything. His cold mind and brave character allowed him to easily switch between planning and direct participation in battle.”
During one of these combat missions, Rodion sustained severe injuries. He could not be saved.
Farewell to the soldier took place on July 2, 2025, in Lviv. The warrior was buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery, in the Field of Honor of modern heroes.
