Evacuation in Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions: How Rescuers are Taking People Out from Under Fire
According to ДСНС: In Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, the process of evacuating residents from dangerous areas is already underway. For example, in the village of Starovyrivka of the Shevchenkivska community, two women were taken out by rescuers to an evacuation point using an armored vehicle due to constant Russian shelling.
In the Druzhkivka area, rescuers from the "Phoenix" group successfully evacuated two people, among whom was a person with limited mobility who required special assistance. In the Zaporizhzhia region, rescue officers saved a couple who decided to return home after several months, but due to the escalation of the security situation, they were forced to leave their native settlement.
"We thought we could hold out a little longer. This is our home, our life… But we realized that this is no longer about stubbornness, but about survival. The main thing is to stay alive," said one of the evacuated women.
Rescuers provided support and assistance in transporting necessary belongings to residents who were forced to leave their homes. Everyone is urged not to postpone evacuation and to leave dangerous areas in time to preserve their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.
Due to the increase in security threats in Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, evacuation of residents from dangerous areas has already begun. Rescuers are actively helping people to leave zones where their lives are threatened.
