Sergeant Ivan Lavrynchuk saved a child from shelling

According to glavcom.ua: During the shelling of the city of Zlatopech, Kharkiv region, Sergeant Ivan Lavrynchuk miraculously saved a child. The story of the rescue was told by the head of the investigative department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bolvinov.

While shelling the city, the Russians again resorted to the tactic of repeated strikes. The woman killed by the first drone was on her way to the recruitment center to find out about her husband's fate. The strike destroyed a boiler house nearby, and the woman died on the spot. That day, she had taken her younger daughter with her. When the police arrived at the scene after the shelling, the 13-year-old girl was sitting next to her mother's body. She also suffered injuries from the shards of glass and the building's cladding, - noted Bolvinov.

The police officer said that at some point, the assistant investigator from the group that arrived at the scene heard the approach of a second drone. According to him, he immediately rushed to the child, grabbed her, and managed to jump into a ravine, covering the girl with himself. Then he drove her to the hospital in his own car. The police officer added that the girl did not suffer serious injuries, and later her older adult sisters took her away.

A reward for another girl-hero

Earlier, 10-year-old Daryna Zviryaka from Odesa became a laureate of the all-Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs initiative 'Hero Children'. During the night shelling of the city, the girl woke her mother just moments before the explosion, thus saving her life.

Each story of heroism in wartime, when solidarity and support are most needed, adds inspiration and shows how important it is to be ready to help each other in difficult moments.
