Elimination of the aftermath of bad weather in Kharkiv region
According to glavcom.ua: In Kharkiv region, rescuers, communal and energy services are working non-stop to restore normal living conditions after the bad weather. This is reported by the State Emergency Service, as Glavkom conveys.
According to the information from the State Emergency Service, 171 rescuers and 38 units of equipment, as well as local firefighters, are involved in the work. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, one person has died, and five others have been hospitalized, including one child.
In the village of Peromayske in Chuhuiv district, a 56-year-old woman died due to a falling tree;
In Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv, the roof of a private house was torn off by gusts of wind, injuring 3 people;
In Osnovyanskyi district, a 7-year-old girl was injured as a result of a tree falling;
In Shevchenkivskyi district, a man born in 1973 was injured when a tree fell on a passenger car;
In Slobozhanske district, a tower crane fell. No casualties;
In Kharkiv district, a tree fell on an electric train from Pokotilivka station towards Merefa. No information about injuries has been received.
Rescue operations are ongoing. The bad weather that struck Kharkiv and the region on the evening of July 12 left behind destruction and casualties. Currently, services are actively cooperating to provide assistance to the victims and restore damages.
Due to the bad weather, the village of Balakliya is partially without electricity, while Verbivka and Borshchivka are without power supply. Also, temporary disruptions in electricity and water supply are possible in Kharkiv.
