The Russian terrorist army struck the Khmelnytsky region
According to glavcom.ua: On December 23, Russian terrorists attacked the Khmelnytsky region, resulting in one person dead and power outages. This was reported by the head of the Khmelnytsky regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin.
“As a result of the enemy attack, a person born in 1953 was killed. Sincere condolences to relatives and friends. Due to shelling, power outages have also been recorded. The attack continues! Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is lifted. Take care of your life,” the message said.
It is noted that due to the lack of electricity, all districts of the city witnessed a drop in pressure and a lack of water supply. Energy workers are currently working on restoring electricity and switching equipment to backup sources.
Russian occupiers also attacked Sumy region
On the night of December 23, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on the Sumy region using drones. The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grygorov, reported on the consequences of the shelling.
Additionally, Russian terrorists attacked Rivne region, which led to damage to a residential building and injuries to people. In Zhytomyr region, hits from missiles and drones were recorded, causing damage to infrastructure and people.
In the area of injuries in Odesa region, energy, port, transport, industrial, and residential infrastructure has been damaged.
Reports of attacks by Russian terrorists on Ukrainian regions are not decreasing. The assaults lead to human casualties, property damage, and negatively affect power supply and infrastructure. The government and military continue to fight against the aggressor, but the consequences of the incidents are palpable and require immediate measures to restore stability in the shelled regions.
