According to glavcom.ua: Lyudmyla Tykhovlyz, born in 1928, passed away in the town of Staryi Sambir in the Lviv region. She was known for her participation in the underground resistance during the Soviet regime. She was a member of the OUN youth network and worked as a courier. After being arrested by the NKVD in 1946, Lyudmyla Tykhovlyz spent ten years in prison, along with five years of loss of rights.

During her exile to Mordovia, RSFSR, at the Potyma station due to her involvement in the Ukrainian underground, Lyudmyla married another political prisoner. After her release in 1954, they moved together to Staryi Sambir in the Lviv region. Currently, Lyudmyla's grandson is defending Ukraine's independence as part of the 68th separate ranger brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, OUN courier Angelina Palamar from Ivano-Frankivsk and former UPA courier Vasyl Khomin also passed away.
