A minibus overturned in Mykolaiv region with passengers: there are dead

An accident involving a passenger minibus occurred in the Bashtanka district. The police of Mykolaiv region reported that as a result of the traffic accident, there were fatalities and injured passengers.

The accident occurred at night on August 31 on the road between the villages of Novyi Buh and Kazanka. A Volkswagen Crafter, which was transporting passengers, collided near the intersection of the N-11 highway 'Dnipro – Mykolaiv' and the railway line.

According to preliminary data, there were 18 people in the minibus. Three passengers died, including a teenager and two adults. Other injured people were taken to the hospital for assistance.

Currently, the authorities are investigating all the circumstances of the accident. There is also mention of another tragedy – in the Kirovohrad region, six people died due to a traffic accident. In Kyiv, a minibus crashed into a passenger bus due to violating safe distance.

The road accident with the minibus in Mykolaiv region led to tragic consequences. The fight against the rapidly increasing number of accidents on the roads remains one of the urgent problems of the Ukrainian transport sector.
