37 Russian Occupiers Killed in a Single Day on the Pokrovsk Front

According to Главком: As of 10:00 PM on May 9, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 121 combat engagements over the past 24 hours. The most intense fighting continues on the Pokrovsk axis, now in its 1,536th day of full-scale war. This area remains a critical flashpoint in the broader conflict, drawing significant resources from both sides.
During the day, the enemy deployed 4,737 FPV drones and carried out 1,524 shelling attacks on civilian settlements and military positions. On the Pokrovsk front alone, Ukrainian forces eliminated 37 occupiers and wounded 15 more. Additionally, two enemy vehicles and a drone control post were destroyed. Ukrainian troops also reported the destruction of two enemy shelters, along with damage to three vehicles, 12 shelters, and four artillery pieces.
Enemy Activity Across the Frontlines
Hostile actions were recorded on other sectors as well. On the Northern Slobozhansk and Kursk axes, there were 21 shelling incidents and two enemy assault attempts. On the Southern Slobozhansk front, Russian forces launched nine attacks on Ukrainian positions, while the Kupiansk sector saw a single assault.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assaults. In the Kramatorsk area, the enemy tried once to improve its tactical position. The occupiers stormed Ukrainian positions 11 times on the Kostiantynivka front, attacked five times on the Oleksandrivka axis, and launched 23 assaults on the Huliaipole sector.
