Professional development for veterans in the MIA
Більше 100 тисяч звернень від ветеранів: як робота Міністерства внутрішніх справ сприяє працевлаштуванню українських захисників.

According to МВС: Over 100,000 visits have been registered on the 'MIA: Your Support' portal and 300 employment applications have been received. This was reported by the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Finashin, during his participation in the telethon 'Unified News'.

A particular interest among users was the section 'Assistance After Injury', where people left requests regarding paperwork, payments, and employment. Veterans who submit questionnaires receive support from HR specialists who analyze their experience and skills, consult, and assist in job searching.

«If a defender wishes to work in a specific department of the MIA system or in a region, we help him with that. If something doesn’t work, we facilitate employment in another direction of the departmental system,» emphasized Dmytro Finashin.

Assistants for Veteran Policy

The MIA has also started implementing an institute of assistants for veteran policy. They are now being implemented in the main departments of the National Police, recruitment is underway in the State Emergency Service, and senior assistants are involved in building the hierarchy in the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard.

The Ukrainian portal 'MIA: Your Support' draws the attention of veterans and provides opportunities for their employment, and the MIA is actively starting to implement a system of assistants to support veteran policy in various institutions.
