To combat the flames, authorities have deployed 352 personnel and 48 pieces of equipment, including aircraft from the State Emergency Service (SES), with one plane actively engaged in firefighting operations.

  • The SES has contributed 96 rescuers and 22 units of equipment.
  • Reinforcements have arrived from the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, bringing an additional 59 rescuers and 14 pieces of machinery.
  • Some 143 workers from the Carpathian branch of the state enterprise 'Forests of Ukraine' are involved, along with 10 vehicles.
  • Local residents are also pitching in, with 43 volunteers assisting the effort.

Law enforcement has launched a criminal investigation under Article 245, Part 2 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which deals with the destruction of or damage to plant life resulting in severe consequences.
