Tourist from Bakhmut died in the Carpathians: details of the tragedy in Rakhiv

A tragedy occurred in the mountains of Transcarpathia - a 26-year-old tourist from the city of Bakhmut has died. According to the State Emergency Service, during a hike in the mountainous area near the village of Krugly, he sustained serious injuries.

After specialists arrived at the scene, they found only his personal belongings and phone. As a result of the area inspection, a man was found near a cliff in serious condition. Rescuers helped him get out, provided first aid and transported him to a vehicle. However, during transportation, he suffered a cardiac arrest, and rescuers attempted resuscitation, but the individual died,' the message states.

It is also known about another tragedy that occurred in the mountains. On Saturday, January 18, a 28-year-old girl from Kovel in the Volyn region, Kateryna Ihnatiyeva, fell from a ski lift and died at the Dragobrat ski resort.
