Life and Service of Serhiy Verema

Born on June 4, 1982, in Zdolbuniv, Serhiy Verema attended school in Kvasyliv and later trained as an auto mechanic at a local vocational college. After completing his education, he worked at the Rich Land agricultural firm in Kvasyliv and processed poultry for a private entrepreneur. In January 2025, Serhiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he quickly adapted and became a rifle squad commander.

During his service, Serhiy was wounded near Kharkiv but, despite this, returned to his comrades. Earlier this year, he completed leadership courses and was promoted to junior sergeant.

Serhiy Verema is survived by his wife, mother, and two brothers. The soldier was buried at the cemetery in Zdolbuniv-2.
