The Most Attempts of Illegal Border Crossing: The State Border Guard Service Named the Most Problematic Section of the Border

According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine is strengthening its fight against illegal border crossing. According to the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service, the most cases of violations are recorded on the border with Romania, and the fewest with Poland. Up to 10 people attempt to leave Ukraine each day using fake documents.

«Regarding attempts of illegal border crossing, unfortunately, they continue, and we are recording the most such cases on the border with Romania. In second place is the border with Moldova. In other sections, attempts occur in somewhat lesser numbers. Well, primarily the border with Hungary and Slovakia. And the least, speaking about attempts of illegal border crossing outside of checkpoints, happens on the border with Poland», – emphasized Demchenko.

The Ukrainian government submitted a draft law to parliament which provides for stronger responsibility for violations related to border crossing. It also established that during martial law, men aged 18 to 22 can cross the border. New measures are aimed at ensuring the country's security and combating criminal activity.
