According to glavcom.ua: The International Swimming League (ISL) is preparing for its return after a three-month break. The association's plans are to draw attention to professional swimming and resume operations halted due to conflicts in Ukraine and the pandemic. The league plans to abandon the single-investor model in favor of partnerships with media giants and expanding revenue. The start of the new season is scheduled for 2026, which will open new opportunities for Ukrainian swimmers.

In the upcoming season, ISL plans to hold seven stages in three parts of the world, as well as improve broadcasting and the competition format. A series of test events before the new season will help implement innovations and enhance the technical aspects of the competitions. Another American winner, Michael Phelps, expressed his opinion on swimming in the USA, noting a trend of decline in this field.
