The most famous grandfather of Ukraine passed away at the age of 89

In Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukrainian blogger Anatolii, known on social media as Grandpa Tolia, has died. He was called one of the most famous retirees of the Ukrainian internet. The man was 88 years old. This was reported by TSN.

His grandson Oleksandr Husin announced the death on social media on March 15. According to the relative, Grandpa Tolia had been battling a serious illness for a long time.

Death of Grandpa Tolia: what happened to the blogger

Shortly before his death, the blogger underwent surgery. Due to complications, doctors had to amputate his right leg above the knee.

After the surgical intervention, the man's condition worsened and there was body intoxication.

The blogger's grandson said:

«They called and said that grandpa was gone. We did everything that was possible».

According to him, the family tried to help grandpa and underwent treatment and rehabilitation, but they could not save the man.

Grandpa Tolia: how the popular blogger will be remembered

Grandpa Tolia became popular on social media thanks to humorous videos and sincere statements. Most of the TikTok and Instagram videos were published by his grandson.

Among the things he will be remembered for:

• viral videos with sharp humor
• popular memes with his phrases
• a cover of the song «Stefania» by Kalush
• participation in advertising campaigns of various brands.

During the full-scale war, Grandpa Tolia's grandson went abroad with his family, while the blogger remained living in Kamianets-Podilskyi with his wife.
