Consequences of the Combined Attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine March 24, 2026
On the night of March 24, the Russian army launched a large-scale combined attack across several regions of Ukraine. The Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Sumy regions were hit. There are casualties and injuries among the civilian population, including children. This was reported by “Dim”.
Massive Attack of the RF on March 24, 2026: Consequences in Zaporizhzhia
In Zaporizhzhia, preliminary data suggests that one person died, and at least nine others were injured. The number of casualties may increase. The head of the OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported significant destruction:

Consequences of the RF Strike on March 24 in Poltava Region

In the Poltava region, as a result of shelling, two people died. Another 11 individuals were injured, including a child. Damage to residential houses and hotels has been recorded. Rescuers are currently working on-site:

Strikes on the Sumy Region: Drone Strike on Civilian Car and Repeat Attacks
In the Sumy region, a Russian drone hit a civilian car. A 13-year-old boy and his father were injured. Another family was also caught in the fire.
In the Trostyanets community, the occupiers attacked a grain storage facility. During the fire extinguishing, the Russians carried out a repeat strike. Rescuers had time to take shelter, but a fire truck was damaged.
Combined Attack of the RF: Scale of the Air Strike
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian troops used 426 air attack means. The air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 390 targets:

365 drones of various types.
Despite the effective work of the air defense, some strikes reached their targets, resulting in casualties and destruction in several regions of Ukraine.
Recall that on the night of March 24, an explosion occurred in a residential building on Korchagina Street in Sevastopol, leading to destruction, fatalities, and damage to neighboring buildings.
