Natalia Valevska's Emotional Journey

According to РБК-Україна — Lite: Ukrainian singer Natalia Valevska has spoken candidly about her experiences with miscarriages and the loss of three unborn children. She addressed feelings of guilt, her decision to create a memorial space for her children in a forest, and her consideration of adoption. Valevska revealed that she lost children in 2022 and last year, describing it as a deeply painful ordeal. At 45, she considers herself the mother of three unborn children.

Born on June 10, 1981, in Khmelnytskyi, Valevska lost one child in 2022 and another last year. In 2003, at age 22, she terminated a pregnancy due to a fetal abnormality. She was married to Volodymyr Pryhlad for 20 years, but their divorce became public in 2022. In early 2025, the singer announced a new relationship, though her partner's identity and face remain undisclosed.

Open Reflections on Loss

Valevska shared her emotions, stating:

“I have gone through so many losses. I am the mother of three unborn children, and it is very difficult. Because I am not entirely not a mother-I am a mother.”

She also described creating a memorial spot in the forest for her unborn children, where she could speak to them and cry. “I simply decided to go into the forest. I set aside a place of remembrance for these three unborn little ones,” she said.

The singer also touched on guilt, saying:

“Who is to blame? Me, because I once took a certain step. But I have already asked God for forgiveness in confession. That means God has already forgiven me. I need to forgive myself.”

Valevska emphasized that doctors cannot always help someone become a mother and stressed the importance of finding the root of the problem to work through it more easily.

Valevska is considering adoption but has ruled out surrogacy. “Surrogacy-no, but adoption is something we are looking into. We will think about it. We still have time,” she noted. She also reflected on the possibility of being happy without becoming a mother: “You can be childfree and have the right to be happy, even if you never have a child in your life.”

Through sharing her experience, Natalia Valevska aims to support other women facing similar situations. Her story highlights the importance of openly discussing the often-overlooked grief women endure, encouraging dialogue and self-awareness. By being so transparent, the singer hopes to reduce the guilt and isolation that frequently accompany such losses.
