A real tragedy occurred in Kherson – Tetiana Asauluk, a scientific staff member of the Kherson National Technical University, died as a result of enemy shelling on the night of December 3. This was reported by the university rector Olena Chepeliuk, according to 'Glavkom'.

Tetiana Asauluk was a candidate of technical sciences and a scientific researcher in the research sector. She conducted research on resource-saving intensive and highly efficient processes and technologies for industry.

'An irreparable loss for Ukrainian science... A bright and kind person... Deepest condolences to the family,' - said the university rector.

This tragedy is part of the overall picture of the ongoing conflict – just the day before, another woman died from Russian shelling, as well as a 76-year-old woman as a result of artillery shelling. This is yet another black day for the city and for all of Ukraine.

Such tragic incidents underline the importance of peace and security for every citizen of the country, reminding us how vital it is to stop this senseless war and find a peaceful resolution to the situation.
