According to Radiotrek — Світ: Roughly 22,600 pre-owned passenger vehicles from foreign brands were registered in Ukraine during July 2026, reflecting a 1% rise compared with the same month in 2025. According to data from Ukravtoprom, the Volkswagen Tiguan was the standout choice among buyers, securing 937 registrations.

The Five Best-Selling Models

• 3. Audi Q5 – 803 registrations
• 4. Nissan Rogue – 799 registrations

Beyond the top five, other notable performers included the Renault Megane (618), Ford Escape (465), and Mazda CX-5 (432). In the EV segment, the Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model 3 emerged as clear favorites, with 509 and 456 registrations, respectively.

Gasoline-powered vehicles continued to dominate Ukrainian buyers' preferences, accounting for 55% of all July registrations. Diesels made up 17%, electric vehicles 15%, hybrids 10%, and LPG-equipped cars 3%. The average age of an imported used car purchased in Ukraine that month was 8.8 years.

The steady uptick in used-vehicle registrations points to an ongoing demand for imported models, particularly ones running on petrol. The strong showing by Volkswagen and Audi models underscores the lasting appeal of German brands in Ukraine. At the same time, the growing interest in electric vehicles suggests a gradual shift in consumer habits toward more sustainable mobility. These developments could shape how automakers strategize both in Ukraine and internationally, as buyers become increasingly focused on energy-efficient options.
