NABU and SAP against corruption in the energy sector: 5 high-profile cases of 2022

According to САП: Recently, it became known about 5 high-profile cases that NABU and SAP are investigating in the energy sector since the beginning of 2022. One of the most well-known cases is the operation "Midas", during which a criminal organization was uncovered. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg, as corruption problems in Ukraine's energy sector are systemic and long-term.

Cases of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office cover a wide range of violations - from bribery in various institutions to complex schemes of abuse in the market and embezzlement of resources in state enterprises.
