According to glavcom.ua: On July 7, a powerful storm struck the eastern part of Slovakia, causing significant destruction. In the Prešov and Košice regions, 25 emergencies were declared due to strong winds and rain that damaged residents' property, infrastructure, and transport networks. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing Aktuality.

The storm brought winds of over 90 km/h and was accompanied by fallen trees, torn-off roofs, and power outages. It turned out that even the fountain in Košice stopped working due to the storm - one tree fell nearby, while another hit the statue of the marathon runner at the Peace Marathon Square.

We remind you that Ukraine also recently witnessed the aftermath of bad weather, which led to power outages in several regions, including fallen trees on the roads in the Ternopil region.

During the severe weather in Slovakia, 25 emergencies were declared due to strong winds and rain, which caused serious destruction and harmed local residents, infrastructure, and transportation. The natural disaster resulted in torn-off roofs, fallen trees, and power outages, emphasizing the importance of warning and readiness for such incidents in the future.
