Night of drone attacks on Moscow and Luhansk: Trump announces mission in the Strait of Hormuz
Трамп оголосив про нову місію в Перській затоці на фоні атаки безпілотників в Москві та Луганську.

Drone Strikes and a Humanitarian Operation

According to Главком: In the early hours of May 4, Moscow and the occupied Luhansk region came under attack from swarms of combat drones. The unmanned aircraft reached the Russian capital around 1:00 a.m., with one explosion recorded on Mosfilmovskaya Street. The blast damaged the Mosfilmovsky residential complex, and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that walls were blown out in three rooms on the 36th floor.

That same night, drones also struck the occupied parts of Luhansk Oblast, though no further details on the aftermath have been released.

Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced the launch of a large-scale humanitarian mission to evacuate foreign vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Dubbed 'Operation Freedom,' the initiative is set to begin Monday morning local time. Trump stated that his representatives are currently in talks with Tehran, saying:

'I am fully aware that my representatives are conducting very positive negotiations with Iran, and that these discussions could lead to something very beneficial for everyone.' Donald Trump

In response, Iran's National Security Commission Chairman Ebrahim Azizi issued a warning to Washington, emphasizing that 'any U.S. attempt to interfere with the new maritime regime in the Strait of Hormuz will be seen by Tehran as a direct violation of the ceasefire agreement.'

These developments highlight the ongoing volatility in international relations and the escalating conflicts that could reshape stability in and around Ukraine. The drone attacks on Moscow underscore a growing security threat, while Trump's humanitarian push may signal fresh diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions between the United States and Iran.

As tensions escalate in the region, the recent drone strikes not only target Moscow but also affect multiple Ukrainian areas, revealing a broader pattern of conflict.
