According to Главком: In the early hours of June 1, the Chernihiv region came under assault from Russian forces, resulting in injuries to eight people, three of whom are children. The Snovsk community bore the brunt of the attack, where a Russian Geran-type drone struck a community center in one of the villages. Six individuals were wounded: three women aged 57, 58, and 61, along with three teenagers-two 14-year-old boys and a 15-year-old youth. Four of the injured were hospitalized, while the remainder are receiving outpatient care.

In another village within the Snovsk community, a drone strike ignited a residential building. The Ripky community also came under fire, where a drone hit a private property, setting a garage and a car ablaze. A 74-year-old woman sustained injuries. The strike targeted a parking lot, destroying equipment. Local businesses and farms suffered damage, with several trucks burned.

Regional Situation

In the Horodnia community, Herbera-type drone attacks damaged cargo trucks and a gas station. In Semenivka, an FPV drone struck the facade and shattered windows of a five-story apartment building. Simultaneously, Russian forces targeted Chernihiv city, igniting a fire at one impact site, though no casualties were reported.

Over the course of the day, Russian troops shelled the Chernihiv region 37 times, also hitting energy infrastructure. According to Ukraine's State Emergency Service and Chernihiv Regional Administration head Vyacheslav Chaus, on the night of June 1, Russia launched 265 attack drones against Ukraine, including Shahed, Herbera, Italmas, Parody-type decoy drones, and other unmanned aerial vehicles.

These attacks are part of Russia's escalating military aggression against Ukraine's infrastructure and civilians.
