According to Главком: Russian forces launched a nighttime drone assault on civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region. Three gas stations in the southern part of the oblast were damaged, along with an energy infrastructure target. According to Oleh Kiper,

“damage was recorded at three gas stations in the south of the region. Fires broke out. The enemy also attacked an energy infrastructure facility. Fortunately, there were no casualties.”

Casualty Count Rises After Missile Strike

Meanwhile, the number of injured from an earlier evening missile attack on Odesa has risen to 11, with nine people hospitalized. One of the victims, a 48-year-old man, remains in serious condition.

“Nine people have been hospitalized, and one of them-a 48-year-old man-remains in serious condition. Medical workers are providing the necessary care. All specialized services are on site. The cleanup from the enemy strikes is ongoing,”

Kiper stated.

Additional strikes were reported at gas stations in the Kryvyi Rih district and Kharkiv. An attack on a filling station in the Kryvyi Rih district killed one person and wounded three others, sparking a fire. On July 7, a Russian drone hit a gas station in Kharkiv, injuring a female employee. Strikes on gas stations in Chernihiv region have become almost daily occurrences, and attacks continue in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.

These attacks highlight the ongoing campaign to destroy critical infrastructure across Ukraine. According to reports, the targeting of gas stations has become systematic, potentially causing severe fuel supply disruptions in affected regions. This, in turn, could impact mobility and the ability to meet both military and civilian needs amid the conflict.
