According to glavcom.ua: In recent years, legendary clubs in big cities like New York, London, Paris, and Berlin have started to close down, and the youth of our time are attending nightclubs less frequently. Experts emphasize that this trend is spreading worldwide.

According to the UK Night Time Industries Association, nearly a third of the country's nightclubs have closed since the pandemic began. The number of nightlife venues in England, Scotland, and Italy has also significantly decreased, long before the onset of lockdown.

One of the main reasons for the decline in popularity of nightclubs is the shift in young people's preferences. Millennials' successors, Generation Z, seem to be more interested in virtual forms of communication and entertainment rather than real parties. Loneliness and stress also play an important role in this situation.

Recent years show a decrease in the popularity of nightclubs in megacities due to changes in youth preferences. The new generation has shown interest in virtual forms of entertainment rather than real parties, leading to the closure of many legendary establishments.
